Fortunately for me, my friend Craig heard about the amazing lighting project of the San Francisco bay bridge.
An amazing installation that spans over 1.5 mile...
The size of the project made it the subject of a upcoming documentary 'Impossible Lights'.

I had the pleasure to visit B.Pâtisserie, another great pastry venue.
I got to try the vanilla cassis (blackcurrant) cake, which was perfect!
Perfect layering with a delicious sponge very fresh very light, and perfectly baked.
Great place, next time I will try to go earlier and have some of their viennoiserie, the kouing amann looks espaecially good...

Its between Mission and Valencia street that I stumble upon, some street art, that reminded me of my friend Hildebrando.
The work is fascinating by its scale and powerful mixture of symbol and color.

Bean to bar is becoming increasingly popular in the U.S. And San Francisco had to have a chocolate maker...
The frontstore is really welcoming, and opens to the production facility.

I tried the chessecake, is was fantastic!

Craftsman and Wolves

Located at 746 Valencia Street
the small storefront of Caftsman and Wolves is right by Dandelion chocolates.

The pâtisserie has about 10 seats outside; as soon as you walk inside, a large showcase, full of baked items, immediately welcomes you.

The dark color of the store, reminds me of Bubo in Barecelona. The showcase wraps around and host a couple of refrigerated drawer filled with mousse cakes.

The quality and originality of the pâtisseries can only mean one thing:
the pâtissiers (pastry chefs) of this place are accomplished.

It feels so good, to be home...
As a Frenchman, I have an insight of what french food should taste like, especially since I am a chef myself, and oh yes!

Those guys know what they're doing, food is delicious.
