The Washington state ferry system is the largest in the nation; it not only safely connects Seattle to many of the surrounding island/peninsula, but also delivers amazing vantage point to take pictures of Seattle.  The last Paella party of the summer was yesterday in Edison. The SloughFood wine and cheese shop in Edison, hosts a range of events, among them Paella Party! And what a delicious Paella, can't wait for next summer. Yesterday, was student end of quarter showcase of their work (capstone), here is a quick picture summary. About 15 years back when my friend François-Henri came to visit, we decided to go on a hike... And yes you guessed it, that was Mt Ellinor. Back then, the snow stopped us from getting to the top, and ever since I secretly kept the completion of this hike on my to do list. Getting there From Seattle there is 3 main ways to get there: -Driving around the Pudget sound (going I5 to Olympia, 101 to Hoodsport and finally 119 LINK -Through Bremerton enjoying a relaxing 1h ferry ride LINK -Through Southworth with a 30 or 40 minutes ferry ride LINK I choose option 3, and took the ferry at the Fauntelroy terminal in west Seattle.
