 The grass is always greener... In this case it would be sweeter, coming from Seattle we are used to pretty good doughnuts (yes the Emerald city is the home of Top Pot Doughnuts), but I'm sad to report that Lucky's in Vancouver took the number one doughnut spot in my heart last weekend. Here is what straight.com had to say            Sometimes expensive is justified.... Fol épi, is a bakery, and a coffee shop, pricy but extremely GOOD, most of the flour is milled on the premisses and all the breads are mixed with a levain. Macarons and baked goods are simply perfect. Luck was on our side...    On Saturday October 6th we set out to go on a trip to Victoria in British Columbia, the goal was cycling and discover as many bakery and pastry shops as possible.
Coming from Seattle, we decided to take the ferry to Kingston first, and then take the Ferry that runs between Port Angeles and Victoria with our bikes. |
